Kalorik 500 Watt Stainless Steel 48 Oz Blender BL-16909

Blender is mediocre, customer service is 100% awful
This blender, supposedly noted for its ability to chop ice and make smoothies, is not very good at either. I make a post-workout smoothie with this machine five times a week and I spend more time stirring my frozen berries with a wooden spoon trying to get them in just the right place where the blades will do what they're supposed to do then I do using the blender. I should say I USED to use this blender to make smoothies but the sealing ring came apart after only a dozen hot water hand washes. And that's when the really bad things started happening. I went on the Kalorik website to order a replacement sealing ring and, knowing how poorly made they are, thought it prudent to order a few. I can deal with this limitation but the fact that the mixing jar moves around when I'm making a smoothie unnerves me. With every blender I've ever had, the mixing jar doesn't move. I just don't feel comfortable using this blender and would have returned it months ago if I had bought it in a regular store. I've had it for five months and am through. This morning it was doing its usual dance while I was using it and it's too scary. (The blade fixing ring is...
