Vacuuming seems less heinous a chore!
Love this vacuum cleaner!! Very lightweight, love the compact size for condo storage, and am amazed at how much 'crud' this little thing picks up! I was actually rather grossed-out by how much it picked up after my Dirt Devil bit-the-dust (literally). I hadn't realized I was such a slob. Heh. Yeesh! Great vacuum cleaner for the price!
Good Bargain
This is a good little vacuum - easy to use, not real heavy and bulky and lots of onboard tools....great price too
The More It Sucks, the More It Sucks
I've had the Eureka Maxima 4711 for the past 3-4 years, and while it's done an OK job during most of that time, it has never been what I would call a "great" vacuum cleaner (I don't know if the 4711AZ is any different from the 4711, which is what I have).
I WILL give it high marks for being bagless, which not only makes it easy to empty the contents when full, but is probably more cost-effective and environmentally sound than using bags. Bagless VCs also eliminate the hassle of trying to figure out what kind of bag to use in the machine and what to do when the store doesn't have the bag you need.
Like I said, most of the time it's fine. Here's why I'm giving it only three stars:
(1) As a previous reviewer commented, the hose keeps slipping out of the base. This is extremely annoying! There's no latch or anything to secure the hose -- you just shove it into a hole in the base and hope it stays in while you're vacuuming. That hope is dashed all too...
