Two Smaller Filters Taped together
The 16"x36"x1" filter is actually two 16"x18" filters taped together. Although it will work it's not what I thought I was getting and reduces airflow (although probably not a very noticeable amount).
One of two orders was good, the other was a nightmare!!!
I have ordered these filters two times. The first time they came quickly, and worked great. We were so satisfied with them that we decided to stock up with a second order. The first 12-pack were all exactly what we ordered (16x36x1 filters). The second order took longer to arrive (busted the "Prime" timeframe by about a week), and each "filter" was actually TWO 16x18x1 filters taped together and re-packaged as a single 16x36x1 filter. The tape joint is week, and the filters are flimsy because of the hack job joining them. This is the closest thing I've seen to outright FRAUD in a product that "ships from and sold by Amazon.com".
I was planning on getting these on a regular basis, but don't know anymore...
